Two Massachusetts lesbians who recently got married in the Netherlands are expected to ask a Massachusetts court to recognize their marriage as valid.
"This is a very scary thing," said Focus on the Family Marriage and Family Analyst Amy Desai. "It signals an all-out attack on marriage."
"It really points out the need for states to protect themselves through defense of marriage acts," Desai added. "It says that, very likely, this is a political move-that it is an attempt by an organized group of homosexuals to force gay' marriage on America," she added.
Massachusetts is one of 15 states currently without a Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA).
